We recall the eagerness of our graduating class to go out into the world, to establish our reputations and to do good. Sixty years have passed since we affixed MB BCh after our names.
Most of us are now in our mid-eighties, with a number still practicing medicine and many retired. Twenty-nine have died. It is time to record our experiences. The Diamond Jubilee Committee is seeking reports from class members of 500-2000 words (2-10 typed pages) recording their medical careers, advanced degrees, articles and books written, discoveries made, family life, where they live, hobbies, talents, joys and disappointments, and their view of the world.
Tell your story the way you would like to be remembered. For those deceased, we invite their families to tell their stories. We plan to send out newsletters in which we will publish two or more autobiographies until we have encompassed the full history of our class. Please send in reports while the memory is still fresh.
